1. Who we are

This website is run for Dr Filis Ayan, Consultant Ophthalmologist ("we", "our", "us"), under the name Blepharoplasty West London. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use this website and contact us.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us when you:

  • Book a Zoom call or a consultation
  • Contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email
  • Complete our online assessment, which is provided for us by Follow Up Systems

This may include your name, email address, phone number, the concerns you would like to discuss, and information about your health. Information about your health is special category data: we use it only to respond to your enquiry and to assess and provide care, and we never share it with advertising platforms.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange your Zoom call and consultation
  • To provide care, and keep the records that requires
  • To send you information you have asked for
  • To meet our legal obligations

4. Advertising and analytics

This website does not currently load any advertising or analytics tags, such as a Meta pixel or Google Tag Manager. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set advertising cookies. The booking calendar on this page is provided by a third-party scheduling service, which may set the cookies it needs to work. Where our online assessment is available, it may store small items in your browser's local storage so the assessment works and your enquiry reaches us. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

6. Who we share information with

  • Service providers that help us run our service, such as booking and email providers
  • Follow Up Systems, which provides our online assessment and passes your enquiry to us
  • Where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Security and retention

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, although no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep your information only as long as we need it, and medical records in line with UK healthcare requirements.

8. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

9. Under-18s

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over.
